Redline D4 ATFis suitable for use where Dexron® II or III & Mercon® fluids are required. D4 ATF is already engineered to meet the new low-temperature requirements of the new Dexron® IV specification, as well as the improved shear-stability requirements of the new Mercon® specifications. The superior stability compared to petroleum ATFs allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches which leads to transmission failure. Also improves shifting in cold weather.
